Johann Heinrich von Thünen Institute
The FInAL project is coordinated by the Johann Heinrich von Thünen Institute - in brief: Thünen Institute. The Thünen Institute is responsible for operating public outreach and scientific and administrative project management. Moreover, it compiles guiding principles (‘Leitbilder’), analyses risks and potentials, and develops scenarios for insect facilitating measures. The Thünen Institute is also responsible for designing methods for monitoring and for implementing measures in Landscape Laboratories and test sites.
Within the accompanying research, it examines responses of wild bees, ecosystem services of insects and soils, and consequences for landscape structure. Further, the Thünen-Institute analyzes the economic results and transmissibility of measures and gives recommendations for practice.
